On 23rd March the Indian Army Medical Authorities (DGMS) has released Covid-19 advisory under the prevailing pandemic threat in India.
The official statement on Indian Army can be viewed- “As initiated by Medical Authorities DGMS (Army) all Appeal Medical Board (AMB) of selected candidates are postponed till 15 April, 2020”.
The candidates recommended by Service Selection Board undergo medical examination at nearest Service Hospitals. Those candidates who were found to be medically unfit (Permanent) can undergo another Medical Board, the Appeal Medical Board (AMB), at any of the Command Hospitals, and Base Hospital Delhi Cantt for their medical examination.
As per sources the tentative declaration for Appeal Medical Board (AMB) dates are expected to be scheduled soon. Fresh dates will be initiated later on Indian Army official website joinindianarmy.nic.in.
