• The Combined Defence Services (CDS) offline exam was conducted in 3 shifts for the 3 papers- English Language, General Knowledge, and Elementary Mathematics.
• Candidates who applied for the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Air Force Academy (AFA), and Indian Naval Academy (INA) attempted all three papers.
• Those candidates who applied for the Officers Training Academy (OTA) attempted only English and General Knowledge papers. Such candidates were exempted from Mathematics paper.
