• India has been placed at 67th rank in the Global Energy Transition Index.
• Global Energy Transition Index is released by World Economic Forum (WEF).

IIT-Kharagpur is going to develop a tamper-proof signaling system.

• This traffic signal system developed by IIT-Kharagpur will be based on Blockchain and it has been designed in such a way to keep it tamper-proof.

India has been placed in the 40th position in Global Competitive Index.

• India has been placed at 40th position in Global Competitive Index 2023.
• Global Competitive Index is prepared by  International Institute for Management Development.
• Denmark has been placed in first position in Global Competitiveness Index 2023.

International Asteroid Day 2023- 30th June

• In December 2016, the United Nations General Assembly passed a resolution (A/RES/71/90) establishing June 30th as International Asteroid Day.

IPS officer Ajay Bhatnagar appoints as Special Director in the CBI.

• The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the proposals of the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) for the appointments of these IPS officers in the CBI.

TS Singh Deo appointed Chhattisgarh Deputy Chief Minister.

• TS Singh Deo was appointed Chhattisgarh Deputy Chief Minister by Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge. Singh Deo's appointment was announced in a review meeting held to discuss the upcoming Chhattisgarh.
