Tamil Nadu tops in Niti Ayog’s export preparedness index 2022.

• National Institution for Transforming India has released the export preparedness index 2022.
• In this index, Tamil Nadu has got the top position with 76.36 points in the overall category.
• In the landlocked state category, Haryana has secured the top position.
• The Export Preparedness Index is prepared by Niti Ayog with the help of the Institute for Competitiveness.

Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship has launched ‘AI for India 2.0’

• The Union Minister of Education and Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Dharmendra Pradhan, launched the “AI for India 2.0”, a free training program on Artificial Intelligence on World Youth Skills Day.

India was ranked 80th in Henley Passport Index 2023.

• India has climbed seven places on Henley Passport Index 2023 to 80th rank from 87 last year though the number of countries allowed visa-free access to Indian passport holders remains unchanged.

• Singapore has topped the list becoming the most powerful passport in the world.

Indian economy needs to grow by 7.6% for 25 years to become a developed country.

• Required real GDP compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) for India works out to be 7.6% during 2023-24 to 2047-48," according to the study by the Reserve Bank of India's economic research department.

India’s growth rate is going to be 6.4% in the financial year 2023 according to the ADB report.

• According to Asian Development Bank, India’s growth rate is going to be 6.4% in the financial year 2024.

President of India presented the Bhoomi Award to District Collectors.

• President Droupadi Murmu presented the Bhoomi Samman awards to 68 district collectors and nine state secretaries for their accomplishments in the Digital India Land Records Modernization Programme (DILRMP).
• The DILRMP is an attempt to develop an integrated land information management system across the country.

South Zone wins Duleep Trophy Title defeating West Zone.

• A Hanuma Vihari-led South Zone side beat Priyank Panchal-led West Zone in the Final of the 2023 Duleep Trophy at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore on July 16 by 75 runs.

• 12th ranked badminton player Li Sheng Fen won has won the US Open 2023 Badminton Open 2023.

India defeats Pakistan in the emerging Asia Cup.

• India has defeated Pakistan by eight wickets in the emerging Asia cup 2023.
• Having dismissed Pakistan for 205, a hundred from Sai Sudharsan and a fifty from Nikin Jose helped India A beat Pakistan A by eight wickets in the final group stage match of Emerging Asia Cup 2023.
