India Mobile Congress 2023 to be held in Pragati Maidan.

• The seventh edition of India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2023, Asia’s premier digital technology exhibition, will take place from 27 October to 30 October at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.

Gujarat has launched the upgraded version of Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana Mukhyamantri Amrutam (PMJAY-MA) scheme.

• Gujarat Government introduced an upgraded version of the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana-Mukhyamantri Amrutam (PMJAY-MA) scheme.
• It allows individuals to access free medical treatment of up to Rs 10 lakh, an increase from the previous limit of Rs 5 lakh. A total of 2,027 government hospitals, 803 private hospitals, and 18 Central government hospitals in the state are authorized to offer medical treatment and perform surgeries.

Russia has pulled out of the grain deal after Crimean Bridge was attacked.

• After the bomb attack on Crimea Bridge, which connects Russia with Crimea, Russia has pulled out of the grain deal.

The USA hands over 105 antique items to India.

• The USA has handed over 105 antique items back to India where they belong.
• Notable items among the antiquities include a terracotta Yakshi plaque from the 1st century BC, a red sandstone Dancing Ganesha from the 9th Century.

China launched the world's first methane-fuelled space rocket.

• A private Chinese company launched the World’s first methane-fuelled space rocket into orbit named “Zhuque-2”.

13.5 crore people were lifted out of poverty according to a report of Niti Ayog.

• According to the Niti Ayog Report on multidimensional poverty, India has successfully brought down multidimensional poverty from 24.85% in 2015 to 14.96% in 2019-21.
• As per this report, about 13.5 crore people were brought out of poverty during this period.

HDFC Bank breaks into the $100 billion market-cap club as the world’s 7th largest lender.

• HDFC Bank, India's largest private lender, has achieved a significant milestone by entering the $100 billion market-capitalization club.

VVS Laxman has been appointed as the head coach for Asian Games.

• VVS Laxman has been appointed head coach of the Indian Cricket Team for the Asian Games which will be played in Guangzhou, China.
