Tips to Crack NDA SSB Interview by NDA-148 Recommended Candidate

“Believe in yourself. You are braver than you think, more talented than you know, and capable of more than you imagine.” - These lines have been my motivation throughout my SSB journey. My name is Abhishek Pratap Singh and I have cracked SSB for NDA 148, 22 SSB Bhopal. This was my final attempt and although I was super nervous but there was a belief, a hope that all the hard work I put in will not fail me. And it sure paid off, it has been rightly said that if you work hard with the correct guidance and support, there is no chance that the result shall disappoint you.

Educational details:

I hail from Lucknow and completed my schooling from St. Joseph. In my 12th standard I opted for science with math. I was convinced I had to appear for the JEE exam which is for engineering. After my boards I appeared for JEE and NDA written exam, failing at both of them. As they always say- to fly higher you need to fall down first and that is what happened with me, this failure served as that extra push I needed to work harder and achieve my dream. It ignited the passion in me for the armed forces. And that’s when I started working day in and day out to achieve my goal of the armed forces. I joined Centurion Defence Academy for SSB and that’s when I realized what NDA actually meant to me, it had become my passion, my one and only goal and I was ready to give up everything for the armed forces. All I needed now was the correct guidance and support and Centurion Defence Academy gave me hope and encouraged me to push my limits so that I could live the life of my dreams.

5 Day SSB experience:

I reached SSB Bhopal on 2nd April, I was a little nervous as it was going to be the final test of my career. My entire future depended on it. So I pulled myself together and told myself that here is the time, I will give my hundred percent. There were 13 people in my group for PPDT, and I was screened in on the very first day itself. Second day I didn’t have much trouble because Centurion had prepared me very well for the TAT and psychology tests, GTO and Interview went well too. The only thing I stuck to was confidence and was completely focused on giving my best. I did everything with confidence, answered every question attentively, that was my only strategy. I believe that you are the first one to believe in your dreams, and others will just follow.

Message to future aspirants:

All I have to say to the future aspirants is that correct guidance and environment are your keys to success. Without proper guidance and direction NDA becomes a very difficult task at hand. I would have never been able to give wings to my dreams if not for the guidance and support of my mentors at Centurion. I would also like to thank my parents and the Centurion team for working on me towards fulfilling the goal of joining the armed forces. Hope my journey inspired you and my words motivated you for some inspiration to work hard and always stay motivated towards achieving your goals.
