100 Latest Lecturette Topics for SSB Interview 2023
SSB Interview stands for the Services Selection Board Interview, which is a multi-stage selection process used by the Indian Armed Forces (Army, Navy, and Air Force) to evaluate and select candidates for the Officer's rank. The interview includes various assessments such as Psychological Tests, Group Tasks, Personal Interviews, and conferences, aimed at evaluating the candidate's leadership qualities, communication skills, problem-solving abilities, teamwork, and overall personality traits. SSB Interview is based on the philosophy of मनसा वाचा कर्मणा i.e. Mind, Speech, and Actions. Through various tests, a candidate is judged on these three parameters.
In group tests, one test is Lecturette. In the Lecturette Test, Candidates have to speak on a topic given by a GTO Officer. This test is conducted to evaluate the decision-making, thoughts, and knowledge of the candidate. This is one of the very important tests of GTO because it is an individual test and this test evaluates your judgment and ability to influence others.
How is the Lecturette conducted?
In the lecturette test, Candidates are made to sit in a semi-circular manner in order of their chest numbers. Candidates are called one by one to deliver their Lecturette. GTO Officer gives three topics to the candidates and candidates have to choose one topic of their choice. Candidates get 3 minutes to prepare for Lecturette and candidates have to speak on the chosen topic for about 3-4 minutes.
