10 Common SSB Interview Questions which are always asked by Repeaters
In SSB, Personal Interview is a nightmare for most of the students. Personal Interview becomes a big challenge for candidates as they hardly know what the Interviewing Officer (I.O.) is going to ask in the interview. Questions are generally based on PIQ (Personal Information Question Questionnaire) Form. But, there are some questions that are always asked from Repators Candidates in SSB. These questions can be asked of screened-out candidates also. Here, we are providing the list of Common SSB Interview Questions which are always asked by Repeaters.
Question- 1 Why were you not recommended in your previous attempt?
Answer- I did good preparation for my SSB and put in lots of hard work also. But, Due to my few mistakes, I was not recommended. As per my analysis, I was not able to fully express myself during group discussions. During, Personal Interview also, I could not answer a few questions. I think these factors may be the cause of my rejection in my last SSB.
Question- 2 What did you do to improve yourself?
Answer- Yes Sir, I conducted many discussions with my friends so that I can learn to project myself. I started reading the newspaper daily so that I can know the facts. During the group discussion, I present facts only. Reading newspapers also helped me in preparation for personal interviews. Now, I have good knowledge of current affairs.
Question- 3 Tell me about your previous SSBs.
Answer- Previously, I attended only one SSB in Bhopal. My SSB was 22 SSB. I was conferenced out in that SSB.
Question- 4 What if I do not recommend you this time also?
Answer- Sir, I will definitely feel dejected. But, I will analyse my preparation and do introspection. I will make improvements in preparation and come again with good preparation.
Question- 5 What may be the reason for your failure in the last SSB?
Answer- Sir, I previously explained that I could not project myself properly and I could not answer a few questions during a personal Interview.
Question- 6 Do you think your physical fitness may be one of the reasons for your rejection of SSB?
Answer- I do not think so, Sir. I think I have good physical fitness and I performed well during my GTO also. I cross 10+ obstacles which are considered to be fairly good. So, I think my physical fitness may not be one of the reasons for my rejection in my last SSB.
Question- 7 Do you think this selection process is fair and gives an equal chance to all aspirants?
Answer- Yes Sir. I have full trust and faith in this selection process. This process has selected thousands of worthy officers.
Question- 8 What are the top qualities of an Officer?
Answer- According to me, Decision Making is the top quality that differentiates an officer from other people. An officer always makes the right decision. They take responsibility even if the decision results in failure.
Question- 9 Recommend 3 Changes to improve this selection process.
Answer- Sir, As I already said that this selection process is already good. This selection process has been systematically developed to suit the needs of the Armed Forces. But I think there should be more transparency as far as results are concerned.
Question- 10 Can you explain your career goals and aspirations?
Answer- My career goal is to become an officer in the Indian Army. And my aspiration is to reach the top level of the military hierarchy by performing well during my military career.
This was the list of 10 questions that can be asked in the SSB Interview. Repeaters candidates must understand that their interview will be a little bit more complex than other candidates. So they should prepare accordingly and be ready to face such difficult questions. Sometimes, I.O. may be trying to trap you. But you should not fall for a trap.
