Wrestling Induction Rally by the Indian Air Force- Boys Sports Squadrons

This program demonstrates the IAF's dedication to advancing sports and giving young athletes opportunities to sharpen their abilities and compete at different levels.

The Indian Air Force (IAF) is committed to developing sporting talent at the basic possible level. The IAF plans to hold an induction rally, especially for its "Air Force Boys Sports Squadrons" in wrestling as part of this approach. The purpose of this competition is to identify and develop talented wrestlers, giving them the chance to compete at the state, national, and international levels.

Key details are as follows:-

Objective- Enrollment in the Air Force Boys Sports Squadron for Wrestling.
Facility offered- Up until Intermediate (10+2), education is free. Free boarding and accommodation Coaches from the Air Force and Sports Authority of India (SAI) oversaw sports instruction. Possibilities to participate in world, national, and state championships.
Eligibility age- Boys born between April 1, 2010, and March 31, 2014, who are 11 to 15 years old as of April 1, 2025.
Educational qualifications required- As of February 1, 2025, candidates must be enrolled in Classes 5, 6, 7, or 8.
Sports achievement- wrestling [greko/free style].
Achievement criteria- Ages 11–13: A medallist in contests at the district level or ,

Above Ages 14–15: State/National Wrestling Federation-recognized participation in national tournaments or first, second, or third place in state-level contests.

Rally details- Date: 17th to 21st February 2025 Venue: Main Gate, ATS Belgaum, Sambra, Belagavi, Karnataka
Reporting Time: 0800 Hrs on 17th February 2025 Selection Trials: 0700 Hrs on 18th, 19th & 20th February 2025 Medical Exam: 0700 Hrs onwards on 21st February 2025.
Points to remember- Selections are based on merit only. This rally is not for employment in the Indian Air Force. Traveling, boarding, and lodging expenses are to be borne by the participants.
