NDA 2020 Marking Pattern
Ready to appear for NDA 2020 exam then it’s time for you to know about NDA 2020 Marking Pattern. National Defence Academy (NDA) exam conducted by Union Public Services Commission or UPSC to recruit candidates in the Indian Army, Navy and Air Forces. The prestigious exam holds a high position in the Indian Army, Navy and Air Forces where each year lakhs of students aspires to clear NDA exam.

NDA exam is conducted twice in a year (April month and September month) thereby following the rigorous qualifying procedure for final selection in Indian Armed Forces.
- Male candidates are eligible
- NDA 2020 syllabus is based on CBSE 10+2 standards.
- 10+2 appearing or passed candidates can apply for NDA exam
- The exam will be conducted in offline mode (pen and paper-based).
NDA complete course of action are as follows:
- NDA is a two-tier examination, wherein it includes: Stage-1 Written examination and Stage-2 SSB Interview.
- Candidates qualifying the written test have to go for the SSB interview round.
- Candidates who clear SSB Interview round have to go through the Medical Tests to match the medical standards of the academy.
- Candidates who clear Medical Tests have to wait for All India Merit List (AIML).
- AIML rank holder appears for three years training in National Defence Academy (NDA), Khadakwasla, Pune.
- When the candidates pass out of NDA, they are sent to the respective specialized academies of the three forces, namely, Indian Military Academy (IMA), Indian Naval Academy (INA) and the Air Force Academy (AFA).
NDA 2020 Marking Pattern:
- Total 1800 Marks include Stage 1 Written Test and Stage 2 SSB Interview
- Stage 1 – 900 Marks, Stage 2 – 900 marks
- Stage 1 consists of Paper 1 and Paper 2
- Paper 1 - Mathematics and Paper 2 - General Ability Test (GAT).
- Paper 2 GAT further divided into Part A – English and Part 2 - GK
- The total duration of the Stage 1 exam is 5 hours combined for both papers i.e. each paper is allotted duration of two and half hour.
- Candidates qualifying the written test are called for NDA SSB Interview.
- SSB Interview is conducted for 5 days includes several test each day
- The total marks you obtain for SSB Interview is 900
- The final selection is done on the basis of the overall performance of the candidate.
