A new species of Gecko has been discovered in Mizoram.

• A team of researchers from the Mizoram University and the Max Planck Institute for Biology, Tubingen, Germany, found a new species of gecko in Mizoram along the Indo-Myanmar border.
• Geko Mizoramensis is the new Gecko species that has been discovered in Mizoram.

Madhya Pradesh Government has transferred Funds under Ladli Behna Scheme.

• Madhya Pradesh Government has transferred Funds of 1000/- under the Ladli Behna Scheme.
• The Ladli Behna Scheme was launched to improve the socio-economic conditions of girls of Madhya Pradesh.

• Shaktikanta Das, the Governor of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), was honored with the esteemed Governor of the Year Award for 2023.

RBI has launched the ‘Antardrishti Portal’ for Financial Inclusion.

• The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has come up with a Financial Inclusion Dashboard named Antardrishti, a platform that will provide insights to assess and monitor the progress of financial inclusion.

• Cormac McCarthy, the Pulitzer Prize-winning author of such acclaimed novels as "The Road" and "No Country for Old Men,"passed away.

• Printer company Epson India has signed actor Rashmika Mandanna as its brand ambassador. The actress will collaborate with the company to promote its products in a multi-media campaign for its ‘EcoTank’ printers this month.

Child rights advocate Lalitha Natarajan wins the 2023 Iqbal Masih Award.

• Chennai-based lawyer and activist Lalitha Natarajan has won the US Department of Labor's 2023 Iqbal Masih Award for the Elimination of Child Labour.
• The Iqbal Masih Award is a non-monetary award presented annually by the U.S. Secretary of Labor and administered by ILAB’s Office of Child Labor, Forced Labor, and Human Trafficking.
