India ranks 5th in countries with the most AI investment.

• Stanford University's AI Index report states that India is ranked fifth in terms of investments received by startups offering AI-based products and services in 2022.
• AI startups in India received a total investment of $3.24 billion, surpassing countries such as South Korea, Germany, Canada, and Australia.
• India is still behind the US, China, the UK, and Israel in terms of AI investments received.

India was ranked the 77th most criminal country.

• World of Statistics has shared the ranking of the world’s “most criminal countries”.
• On the list, Venezuela has been ranked top, followed by Papua New Guinea (2), and Afghanistan.
• Japan is the least criminal country.

Over 11,000 Bihu dancers participated in the event creating the Guinness World Record for the ‘largest Bihu performance in a single venue’ in Guwahati.

• More than 11,000 Bihu dancers participated at the Sarusajai Stadium in Guwahati on Thursday. Guwahati: India's Northeastern state Assam created history and marked its name in the Guinness Book of World Records by performing the traditional Bihu dance at a single venue.

125 ft statue of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar to be unveiled today in Hyderabad on his birth anniversary.

• The name of the statue is ‘The Spirit of social equality’.

Ghana first to give nod to the malaria vaccine developed by the University of Oxford & manufactured by the Serum Institute of India (SII) named of vaccine- R21/Matrix-M vaccine.

• The university of Oxford developed and the serum Institute of India (SII) manufactured and scaled up a “high efficacy” malaria vaccine that has been licensed for use in Ghana by Africa’s Food and Drugs Authority.

Tropical Cyclone Ilsa hits Western Australia.

• Tropical Cyclone Ilsa was a category-4 cyclone that hit Australia.
• Its wind speed was between 160-199 kmph.

United Nations: India’s economic growth is projected to decelerate to 6% in 2023 from 6.6% in 2022.

• As per the latest Trade and Development Report Update released by the United Nations India improved its ranking by-6 spots Vietnam emerged as the biggest gainer-12 spots
• Biggest loser: Slovakia 7 spots fallTrade and Development Conference (UNCTAD), India's economic growth is expected to slow down from 6.6% in 2022 to 6%.
