Telangana launches State Robotics Framework.

• This policy of Telangana aims at creating an ecosystem for Robotics to promote innovation, entrepreneurship, and research and development.

Shantiniketan which is the Ashram of Ravindranath Tagore has been recommended for inclusion in the list of World Heritage Sites.

• Shantiniketan is situated in the Birbhum District of West Bengal.
• The International Council on Monuments and Sites has recommended that Shantiniketan should be included in the World Heritage Site List.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to lay the foundation of the LIGO Project in Hingoli, Maharashtra.

• LIGO stands for Laser Interferometer Gravitational-Wave Observatory which will detect gravitational waves.
• This LIGO Project will be the largest science facility in India after its establishment.

Assam Rifles has evacuated people from Manipur under operation ‘Kohima Calling’.

• During the recent clashes between Kukis and Maeitis in Manipur, Army, and Assam Rifles were called to stop violence and evacuate people.

• The Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways has launched the ‘Harit Sagar’ Green Port Guidelines 2023 to achieve its vision of zero carbon emissions.

India and Thailand Conduct 35th Indo-Thai Coordinated Patrol(CORPAT).

• The Indian Navy and the Royal Thai Navy conducted the 35th edition of the India-Thailand Coordinated Patrol (Indo-Thai CORPAT.
• The exercise was aimed at reinforcing maritime linkages between the two countries and ensuring the safety and security of the Indian Ocean.

Rajasthan becomes the first state to enforce the right to walk.

• Under this framework, Road Construction Companies will have to construct footpaths and cycleways along the roads.

The US has announced a 1.2 billion dollar security assistance package for Ukraine.

• This military aid of 1.2 billion dollars has been given by the USA to Ukraine for the upgradation of Air Defence Systems.

The first baby was born in the United Kingdom using the DNA of 3 People.

• UK’s Embryology has confirmed the birth of the UK’s First Baby using the DNA of three people.
• This was done to prevent the child from catching a rare genetic disease affecting mitochondria.

• A book titled 'Made in India: 75 Years of Business and Enterprise' has been released. It has been authored by Amitabh Kant, who is a retired Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and served as CEO of NITI Aayog.
• His other books include Branding India-An Incredible Story, Incredible India 2.0, etc.

‘Writing with Fire’ Documentary wins Prestigious Peabody Award in Documentary Category.

• ‘Writing with Fire’ is an Oscar-nominated documentary that has won a Peabody Award in Documentary Category.
• Rintu Ghosh and Sumit Ghosh have directed this Documentary.

Qatar will host the Basketball World Cup.

• The International Basketball Federation has selected Qatar to host the Basketball World Cup in 2027.
• A total of 32 Teams have qualified to participate in the Basketball World Cup 2027.

Rhythm Sangwan won a Bronze Medal in the World Shooting Championship in Baku.

• The World Shooting Championship is being organized in Baku where Indian Shooters have participated.
• In the Pistol Category, Rhythm Sangwan has won a Bronze Medal. Whereas, Esha Singh and Prabhjot Singh were placed at 6th and 4th Rank and could not win any medals.
