INS Magar has been decommissioned from the Indian Navy.

• Indian Navy decommissioned INS Magar on May 06, the oldest Landing Ship Tank (Large) after 36 years of service at the Naval base in Kochi.

Uttar Pradesh to get its first Pharma Park in Lalitpur district

• The Uttar Pradesh government has approved the establishment of the state's first Pharma Park in the Lalitpur district of Bundelkhand.
• The Uttar Pradesh government is also setting up a Medical Device Park on 350 acres of land at the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YIDA) in Gautam Buddha Nagar.

First Border Haat was Inaugurated at Bholaganj in Sylhet Division between India and Bangladesh.

Japan has adopted the ‘Basic Plan on Ocean Policy

• Japan’s Basic Plan on Ocean Policy was adopted recently by Prime Minister Fumio Kishida’s Cabinet. This five-year ocean policy seeks to strengthen marine security amid the growing Chinese assertiveness in the regional seas. The Basic Plan on Ocean Policy, which was first crafted in 2008, is revised every five years.
