India contributes 32.89 million to the Budget of the United Nations.

• India has paid USD 32.89 million to the United Nations Regular Budget for 2024, joining the "honour roll" of 36 Member States who have paid their regular budget dues in full to the UN on time.

India to consume world’s 30% crude oil till 2030.

• According to the International Energy Agency, India will be the largest source of oil demand growth until 2030.
• India is currently The world's third-largest oil importer and consumer and will register an oil demand increase of almost 1.2 million barrels per day (bpd) between 2023 and 2030.

RBI keeps the repo rate unchanged at 6.5%.

• In the latest monetary policy, RBI’s Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) has decided to keep the repo rate unchanged at 6.5 percent.
• It is the sixth time that RBI has kept its repo rate unchanged at 6.5%.
