The CPI published by Transparency International, evaluates nations based on their perceived levels of public sector corruption, utilizing a scale from 0 to 100, where 0 signifies high corruption and 100 represents very clean governance.
Indian Navy carries out rescue operations in the Gulf of Aden.	Indian Naval Ship, INS Sumitra carried out a rescue operation near the Somalian coast and freed 19 Pakistani Fishermen from an Iranian Fishing Vessel. This rescue operation also led to the capture of Somalian Pirates. This is the second rescue operation by the Indian Navy. Earlier, the Indian Navy's Elite Marcos Commandos freed 11 Indian Sailors from Somalian Pirates.
The Ministry of Environment conducted out Snow Leopard Census.	Snow Leopard Census 2024 There are a total of 718 snow leopards in India. The highest number of snow leopards is in Ladakh, followed by Uttrakhand and Himachal Pradesh.

Former Pakistani Prime Minister handed jail term of 10 years.	Pakistani Judiciary handed a jail term of 10 years to the former Pakistani Prime Minister. This sentence was given to Imran Khan in relation to a case of leaking classified documents.
Philippines and Vietnam sign a defence deal on the south-china Sea.	In an attempt to growing Chinese threat in the Indian Ocean region, the Philippines and Vietnam sign a defence deal on the South China Sea. Under this deal, both countries will cooperate to deal with emerging security challenges in the China Sea.
