US Clears Sale of MQ-9B Armed Drone to India.

• The United States Department has cleared the sale of 31 MQ-9B Sky Guardian Drones to India.
• This deal was for 4 billion dollars and was signed during the visit of PM Narendra Modi to the USA.
• MQ-9B Sky Guardian Drones are equipped with an inbuilt navigation system and armed with hellfire missiles.

Bhutan has been allocated the highest foreign aid under the Interim Budget 2024-25.

• India provides foreign aid to various neighboring countries.
• This year, the government has allocated- 2,068 rupees to Bhutan, 700 crore to Nepal, and 600 Crore to Maldives.
