Ministry of Agriculture has launched RWBCIS (Restructured Weather Based Crop Insurance Scheme).

• Restructured Weather Based Crop Insurance Scheme (RWBCIS) aims to mitigate the hardship of the insured farmers against the likelihood of financial loss on account of anticipated crop loss resulting from adverse weather conditions relating to rainfall, temperature, wind, humidity etc.

India AI and Meta sign MoU for fostering Innovation in AI and Emerging Technologies.

• India AI which is an independent business unit under the Ministry of electronics and information technology has signed a memorandum of understanding with Meta to foster innovation in Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Technologies.

Bengaluru becomes the first Indian City to join World Cities Culture Forum.

• Bengaluru has become the first Indian city to become part of the World Cities Culture Forum (WCCF,) a global network of cities that share research and intelligence, and explore the role of culture in future prosperity.

Pakistan has been granted a loan of $2.4 billion by China.

• China has rolled over a USD 2.4 billion loan to its all-weather ally Pakistan for two years to help the cash-strapped country shore up its foreign exchange reserves.
