Indian Navy to procure 200 Brahmos Missiles.

• India Navy is going to expand its arsenal by adding 200 missiles to the list of its weapons.
• This procurement will be of 19,000 cr and this purchase was approved by the cabinet committee on security.

Nokia and IISc Partner for 6G Research and Development in Bengaluru.

• Nokia and the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) have united to pioneer 6G technology research and its real-world applications, with a particular focus on India.
• This collaboration is headquartered at Nokia’s newly inaugurated 6G Lab in Bengaluru.

India’s First Gati Shakti Research Chair Established at IIM Shillong.

• The Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways (MoPSW) has collaborated with the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Shillong to establish the first ‘Gati Shakti Research Chair’ in India.
• This initiative aims to enhance academic research in multimodal logistics, particularly focusing on the North-East region.

• Germany has joined the list of those countries which allow legal possession of marijuana.
• Germany will allow possession of up to 25 gm of marijuana.

Armenia has decided not to join a Russian-led security alliance called CSTO.

• Caucus Country Armenia has decided not to join the Russia-led security alliance called CSTO (Collective Security Treaty Organisation). 
• CSTO is an intergovernmental military alliance (six countries) that came into effect in 2002.

The US achieves its first moon landing in 50 years.

• A Texas-based private space company has successfully landed a spacecraft on the surface of the moon.
• The name of this Texas-based company is Intuitive Machine.
