23,00 people have been killed in Libya due to flash floods.	In a catastrophic flood in Libya, 23,00 people are reported to have been killed and thousands are missing in the African country Libya. The flash flood was caused by torrential rainfall brought by storm Daniel.

Indian Retail Inflation Eased to 6.83% in August.	In August, India's retail inflation eased to 6.83%, down from July's 7.44%, but still above the RBI's target range. Vegetable prices moderated, contributing to the decline.

India’s Sindhu Gangadharan was appointed as Nasscom Vice-Chairperson.	Sindhu Gangadharan has been named the Vice-Chairperson of The National Association of Software and Service Companies (Nasscom).
