Indian Navy SSCO Eligibility Criteria 2021

Candidates who have graduated or are in the final year, with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA from a recognized University.

NCC ‘C’ certificate holders will be given a relaxation of 5% in cut-off marks towards shortlisting for SSB.

All SSB recommended candidates would be required to inform their final result of respective degree by 30 Apr 2022 to the Indian Navy on the email ID officer@navy.gov.in

Only one application can be filled by a candidate and he/she must indicate his/her preference for other branches/cadres also if they wish to be considered for those branches/cadres.

Candidates will be allocated branches/cadres based on their merit and preference, subject to fulfilling other criteria such as education, medical standards, etc.

Indian Navy SSCO Application Process 2021

Candidates are required to register and fill the online application through the official website of the Indian Navy www.joinindiannavy.gov.

Interested candidates can apply online for the Indian Navy SSCO Exam from 18 September 2021 to 05 October 2021.

Candidates are required to provide their personal particulars as given in the Matriculation Certificate along with their e-mail address and mobile number.

All relevant documents and marks sheets up to 5th & 7th

semester for regular & integrated BE/ B.Tech courses and all semester mark sheets

for other degree examinations and a recent passport size color photograph should be scanned in original for attaching the same while filling up the online application.

Candidates are required to take a printout of the application and carry it while appearing for the SSB interview.

Candidates should note that their applications are subject to subsequent scrutiny and the application can be rejected, therefore, they are advised to fill the application form with authentic and accurate details only.
Indian Navy SSCO Selection Process 2021

Shortlisting of applications will be based on the preference of entries and normalized marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying degree. Marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying degree will be normalized to shortlist the applications.

Shortlisted candidates will be informed about their selection for SSB interviews through email or SMS (provided by candidates in their application form). Candidates are advised not to change their e-mail/mobile number till the selection process is over.

SSB recommended candidates are required to undergo a medical examination as applicable to their entry. Candidates of Pilot entry are required to undergo Computerised Pilot Selection System (CPSS) followed by Aviation medical examination.

Merit lists would be prepared separately for Extended NOC and Regular NOC based on SSB marks. Candidates declared fit in the medical examination would be appointed as per availability of vacancies in the respective course/entry.
