Online applications are invited from unmarried male and female candidates for the grant of the Short Service Commission in the Indian Army. Eligibility Criteria for Army JAG Entry 30th Course
Nationality:
A candidate must be a citizen of India or as mentioned in the official notification.
Educational Qualification:

Candidates must hold an LLB Degree with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks.

In addition, CLAT PG Score of the preceding year is mandatory for all candidates.

Candidates should be eligible for registration as an Advocate with the Bar Council of India.

Candidates applying for the Army JAG Entry Scheme 30th Course must be born between 02 January 1996 and 1st January 2002.
Army JAG Entry 30th Course Vacancies
The Indian Army has issued the official notification for a total of 7 vacancies for the post of Judge Advocate General (JAG). These vacant posts include 5 posts for male candidates while 2 posts of JAG for female candidates. Candidates who will qualify for the subsequent stages of the Army JAG selection procedure will be posted to the Short Service Commission of the Indian Army.
Selection Process for Army JAG Entry Scheme 2022

First of all, online applications of the candidates will be shortlisted by the Integrated Headquarters of the Ministry of Defence (Army).

Shortlisted candidates will be informed about their selection for SSB Interview through email or SMS on the contact details provided by candidates.

After allotment to Selection Center, candidates will have to log in to the website and select their SSB dates which are available on a first-come-first-serve basis initially.

Only shortlisted eligible candidates will undergo SSB at Selection Centers, Allahabad (UP), Bhopal (MP), Bangalore (Karnataka) and Kapurthala (Punjab).

The final merit list will be prepared based on the marks scored by the candidates in the SSB Interview, and candidates declared fit in the medical exam will be appointed as per the vacancies.

The recommended candidates will undergo a 49-week Pre-Commission training at Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai.
