Border Security Force has invited applications for Group B & Group C Posts. There are Directorate General Security Force Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial (Combatised Post) Deputation Basis Vacancy. BSF Group B & C Deputation (Departmental) has been released. Fresher candidates will not apply for BSF Recruitment. Departmental candidates who are already working in India can fill the same form.

The Border Security Force (BSF) is India's border guarding organisation on its border with Pakistan and Bangladesh. It is one of the seven Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) of India, and was raised in the wake of the 1965 war on 1 December 1965, "for ensuring the security of the borders of India and for matters connected there with". The Border Security Force (BSF) under the Ministry of Home Affairs, had formerly released BSF Group B Notification 2022 in the month of April 2022 inviting online applications from eligible and interested Indian nationals, male and female, for filling Ninety (90) vacancies to the post of Inspector and Sub Inspector in BSF through direct recruitment to posted anywhere in India on a fulltime basis. And now they have invited applications for the 121 post on Deputation Basis. Departmental candidates can apply. BSF Group C and Group B recruitment has come. There is different different post Sub Inspector (Works), Sub-Inspector/ Junior Engineer (Elect), Head Constable (Generator Operator), Head Constable (Generator Mechanic), Head Constable (Wireman/ Lineman), Head Constable (Electrician/ Electrical), Head Constable (Pump Operator), Head Constable (Pioneer), Constable (Generator Operator), on which path you want to apply will submit offline application of the same post. For Border Security Force Group B & Group C Recruitment one has to apply offline.

The motto of BSF “DUTY UNTO DEATH” serves as a motivation for glorification of the forces. The BSF’s duty during peacetime is to promote a sense of security among the people living in the border areas, prevent trans-border crimes, unauthorized entry into or exit from the territory of India, prevent smuggling and any other illegal activities on the Border, anti-infiltration duties and collecting trans-border intelligence. While during Wartime following duties of BSF turn to holding ground in assigned sectors, limited aggressive action against irregular forces of the enemy, maintenance of Law and Order in enemy territory administered under the Army’s control, acting as guides to the Army in border areas, assistance in the control of refugees, provision of escorts and performing special tasks connected with intelligence including cross-border raids. Aspirants looking forward to playing these roles should be under the age limit should of maximum 52 years. (Age Relaxation: – SC/ ST /OBC Candidates Relaxation as per Government Rule.)
