Army 10+2 TES 47th Course Notification Released - Apply Now!

The Indian Army has released the official notification for Army TES 47th Course commencing in July 2022. Interested male candidates who have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and have appeared in the JEE (Mains) 2021 examination can apply online for the Technical Entry Scheme (TES) course of the Indian Army. Candidates who will qualify the subsequent stages of the selection procedure for the Army TES 47th Course will be granted Permanent Commission in the Army. Eligibility Criteria for Army 10+2 TES 47th Course

Nationality: 

A candidate must be a citizen of India or as mentioned in the official notification.

Educational Qualification: 

• Candidates must have passed the 10+2 exam with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized education board. 

• Additionally, candidates must have appeared in JEE (Mains) examination 2021. 

Age Limit: 

• Minimum Age - 16½ years 

• Maximum Age - 19½ years 

Army 10+2 TES 47th Course Vacancies 2022

There will be a total of 90 vacant posts for the Army TES 47th Course. The seats are tentative and subject to change depending on the Training Academy's capacity for this course. The number of vacancies may increase or decrease depending on the requirements of the organization at the time. Cadets will be granted a Permanent Commission in the Army in the rank of Lieutenant after successfully completing the Technical Entry Scheme (TES) course for four years.

Selection Process for Army 10+2 TES 47th Course 2022

• First of all, online applications of the candidates will be shortlisted by the Integrated Headquarters of the Ministry of Defence (Army).

• Shortlisted candidates will be informed about their selection for SSB Interview through email or SMS on the contact details provided by candidates.

•  After allotment of Selection Center, candidates will have to log in to the website and select their SSB dates which are available on a first-come first-serve basis initially. 

• Only shortlisted eligible candidates will undergo SSB at Selection Centers, Allahabad(UP), Bhopal (MP), Bangalore (Karnataka) and Kapurthala (Punjab).

• The final merit list will be prepared based on the marks scored by the candidates in the SSB Interview, and candidates declared fit in the medical exam will be appointed as per the vacancies.

• The recommended candidates will undergo a 1-year Basic Military Training at Officers Training Academy (OTA), Gaya.

Technical Training - Phase-I (3 Years Pre-Commission Training)

• College of Military Engineering (CME), Pune, or

• Military College of Telecommunication Engineering, Mhow (MP), or

• Military College of Electronics and Mechanical Engineering (MCEME), Secunderabad

Technical Training - Phase-II (1 Year Post-Commission Training)

• College of Military Engineering (CME), Pune, or

• Military College of Telecommunication Engineering, Mhow (MP), or

• Military College of Electronics and Mechanical Engineering (MCEME), Secunderabad
