Passing Out Parade of MNS Cadets at AFMC Pune

31 MNS Cadets have passed out from AFMC (Armed Forces Medical College) Pune in the passing out parade ceremony. These Cadets were part of the 53rd Batch of Military Nursing Services passing out from AFMC Pune. This passing-out parade ceremony took place at the parade ground of the AFMC College. Major General D Vivekanand was the chief guest of the MNS 2023 Passing Out Parade Ceremony.

Brig Subhashini KR, principal of the College of Nursing, AFMC, administered the ‘Oath of Affirmation’ to the newly commissioned nursing officers. After the ceremony, parents of the passing out cadets pipped the stars on the shoulders of the Cadets.

All the passed-out candidates will get the rank of Lieutenant and serve in Military Nursing Service. MNS is the most prestigious exam for female defence aspirants because it gives them a chance to become an officer in the Indian armed forces as a nurse.
