Indian Army reduces the upper age limit for Agniveers

Indian Army has reduced the upper age limit for Agniveers for upcoming Agniveer Recruitment in 2023. Erstwhile, Upper Age Limit was 23 Years but now it has been reduced to 21 years. So as per revised guidelines, candidates between the ages of 17.5 to 21 years can apply for Agniveer Recruitment 2023.

Revised Eligibility for Agniveers 2023 Recruitment
Age Limit	Lower Age Limit- 17.5 years
	Upper Age Limit- 21 years
Educational Qualification	General Duty- 10th Passed with 33% Marks in each subject and 45% total marks
	Technical- 12th passed with physics, chemistry, math, and English with 40% marks in each subject and 50% aggregate marks Or 10th passed with 50%+3 years of ITI Diploma
	Clerk- 12th passed with 50% marks in each subject
	Tradesman- 10th passed with 33% marks in each subject

Reason for the reduction in the age limit

During Covid-19 Pandemic, No rally recruitment was organized by Indian Army so, to provide compensation to candidates Indian Army increased the upper age limit by 2 years for recruitment. Now, Indian Army has changed the upper age limit and reduced it to 21 years.

Registration for Agniveer 2023 Recruitment has already started and the last date to apply for Agniveer 2023 is 15 march. So, candidates are advised to register as soon as possible.
