Exercise Cyclone-I: Special Forces of India, Egypt begin first ever joint exercise
Special Forces from India and Egypt are going to conduct a joint training exercise Cyclone-1 in Rajasthan. In this 14 days training exercise, special forces from both countries will showcase advanced special forces skills such as Sniping, Combat Free Fall, Reconnaissance, Surveillance & Target Designation, and sharing of information on weapons, equipment, innovations, tactics, techniques & procedures. The participants would also undertake joint planning and drills for Special Forces operations in a mechanized warfare setting as well as surgical strikes on terrorist camps/hideouts to include sniping of High-Value Targets.
