On December 14, 2024, the Indian Military Academy (IMA) in Dehradun hosted its prestigious Passing Out Parade (POP) for the autumn batch. This grand event marked the completion of intensive training for 491 Gentleman Cadets (GCs), including 456 from India and 35 from friendly nations, as they prepared to take on their roles as officers in the Indian Army.

The parade took place at the Chetwode Drill Square, where cadets displayed their discipline and precision in a synchronized march. The event also featured a breathtaking aerial display by helicopters, showering rose petals over the square.

The parade was reviewed by Nepal Army Chief General Ashok Raj Sigdel, who highlighted the importance of adapting to future challenges, including disruptive technologies and modern warfare strategies.
