The Union Public Service Commission released the Combined Defence Services (CDS) 2 2023 marks and final merit list on its official website. The final result was released on April 22, 2024 but this final result was only for IMA, INA, and AFA and did not contain the OTA results because the OTA result is generally announced a few months later. The answer key was released on July 2, 2024. The cut-off marks were released on July 3, 2024. Finally, on July 5, 2024, the marks of recommended candidates have been released, including those of OTA candidates too. In this blog, we have shared the important details related to CDS 2 2023 marks and merit list.

Candidates can check the further details on the official website of the UPSC. Soon, the commission will also release the marks and other details of non-recommended willing candidates through the public disclosure scheme. The minimum qualifying marks in each subject are 20%. In the case of a tie in aggregate marks, the candidate senior by age is placed at a higher rank. The CDS 2 2023 cut-off marks and recommendation details are provided.

For the Indian Military Academy (IMA), the aggregate marks of the last qualified candidate were 127 out of 300 in the written result and 250 out of 600 in the final result.
For the Indian Naval Academy (INA), the aggregate marks of the last qualified candidate were 110 out of 300 in the written result and 237 out of 600 in the final result.
For the Air Force Academy (AFA), the aggregate marks of the last qualified candidate were 136 out of 300 in the written result and 259 out of 600 in the final result.
For the Officers Training Academy (OTA) Men, the aggregate marks of the last qualified candidate were 104 out of 200 in the written result and 185 out of 400 in the final result.
For the Officers Training Academy (OTA) Women, the aggregate marks of the last qualified candidate were 104 out of 200 in the written result and 188 out of 400 in the final result.
