AFCAT 2023 Selection Process - Full detail of AFCAT Entry Procedure

AFCAT stands for Airforce Common Admission Test. It is conducted by Airforce to select Officers for Airforce. Through AFCAT Candidates are selected for various branches of the Airforce such as Flying, Ground Duty, Meteorology, Accounts, Education, etc. After successfully qualifying for the written AFCAT exam and SSB Interview, Candidates are trained at the Indian  Airforce Academy, Dundigal Hyderabad. After passing out from the Indian Airforce Academy Candidates are given Short Service Commission or Permanent Commission based on AFCAT Exam.

Comprehension, Detect Error in Sentences, Sentence Completion/ Filling in of correct words, Synonyms/Antonyms, Cloze Test or Fill in the Gaps in a paragraph, Idioms, and Phrases, Analogy, Sentence Rearranging, Substitution in a Sentence/ One Word Substitution.

Application

Candidates can apply for AFCAT on the official website of CDAC

2nd

Written Exam

After applying for the AFCAT, Candidates can appear for AFCAT written Exam

3rd

AFSB

After successfully qualifying for AFCAT written exam, Candidates have to appear for five days AFSB Interview.

4th

Medical Test

After successfully qualifying AFSB, Candidates undergo medical tests

5th

Final Result

Upon clearing the written exam, AFSB interview, and medical tests, Airforce publishes lists of successful candidates.
