The NDA exam is one of the most difficult exams in India. This exam is known for its difficulty level and low success rate. The biggest reason behind its high level of difficulty is the question setting by UPSC. UPSC asks several twisted and coded questions which need to be answered with a thorough analysis. Candidates need to know the proper way to answer questions during the NDA exam because at times they mark the wrong answer despite knowing the right answer. Here, we are going to tell you about the Right Way to Attempt NDA 2023 Exam Paper. In this article, we will tell you about small points that should be kept in mind while solving the NDA exam paper.
Fill the Important Information Properly
It is very important for NDA-2 2023 aspirants to properly fill in important information such as roll number, question paper code, date, paper name, etc. While filling in this information, do not forget to fill in the bubbles properly. If you do not fill the bubble properly, your OMR sheet may not be checked by the UPSC.
While Attempting NDA-2 2023, Candidates are advised to fill in their roll numbers properly. A lot of students fill the roll in the wrong manner as mentioned above. The right way of filling roll numbers has also been mentioned above.
Go through the Question Paper First, and Check If It is fully intact or not
After getting the question paper, NDA Aspirants must go through the whole question paper once and check if the question paper is intact or not. Aspirants also check that question papers should not have any misprints. In case any page is missing or the question paper is not printed properly then, aspirants must ask the examiner to replace the question paper.
Start with Strong Part First
NDA Aspirants should start attempting with their strong part, as it will give them confidence and boost their morale. For example, if you are going to attempt a maths paper, and your strong part is algebra, then you should start with the algebra part. Candidates should not try to follow sequence, and attempt questions from their strong part first. This principle equally applies to the GAT paper also.
In the English Part, Attempt Para jumbles and Comprehension in the last
In the English Part, Para Jumbles and Comprehension Questions take a long time to solve. Candidates should try to solve questions of error detection, re-ordering, cloze test, and vocabulary in the starting so that they can save time for lengthy questions. The main idea behind this sequence is that both short and lengthy questions carry the same marks so you should try to solve short questions first so that you can get more time to solve them.
Use Elimination Method
Spotting Error Question- NDA (1) 2023
The elimination method is very useful in solving spotting error questions. You can easily eliminate options that are grammatically correct. For example in the above question, you can easily eliminate option (b) and option (c) as both options are grammatically correct.
Reordering NDA (1) 2023
In the above question, you can easily eliminate option (d) because the sentence will not start with “because I feel” that’s why you can easily eliminate P. You can eliminate options (c) and (d) also because both sentences will not have proper sentences. So the only option you will have is (a). In this way you can use the elimination method, to eliminate the wrong options. It will help you to save time and answer questions correctly.
