Cut-Off Analysis of the Ten previous CDS Exam
The Combined Defence Services (CDS) Examination is a national-level defence exam conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for recruitment into the Indian Military Academy (IMA) Dehradun, Indian Naval Academy (INA) Ezhimala, Air Force Academy (AFA) Hyderabad and Officers Training Academy (OTA) Chennai. The exam is conducted twice a year and all graduate candidates can apply for this exam.
Cut-Off Analysis of 10 previous CDS Exam
The Cut-off for the Combined Defence Services (CDS) Examination is determined by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), which is the conducting body for the exam. The cut-off marks are the minimum marks that a candidate must score in order to be eligible for selection. The cut-off marks vary every year and depend on several factors such as the number of candidates appearing for the exam, the difficulty level of the exam, and the number of vacancies. Types of Cut Off in CDS Exam
- Sectional Cut Off- Sectional Cut Off in the CDS Exam is 20% of the Total Marks in each paper. It means you must get at least 20 marks in each paper, otherwise, you will not qualify the written exam.
- Written Exam Cut-Off- Candidates must score a certain number in the written papers of the CDS Exam to qualify for SSB Interview. This cut-off depends upon the level of difficulty of the written exam and candidates applying for the CDS Exam.
- Final Cut-Off- In the final cut-off marks of the marks of SSB Interview are also included. After qualifying this cut-off, candidates become eligible to join OTA, IMA, INA, and AFA.
